Athena ACL Lab is a growing community focused on helping people navigate ACL injury, rehabilitation, and the process of rebuilding strength and confidence after injury.

Building a new kind of ACL recovery ecosystem

An ACL rupture can be overwhelming—not just physically, but in the decisions it requires you to make early in recovery.

Most people are given a plan, but not much guidance on how to understand their options or how to ask the right questions along the way.

We’re working to change that.

What We’re Building

Athena ACL Lab is currently centered around a private Discord community where members can:

  • Ask questions and share their recovery experience

  • Learn from research and practical strength principles

  • Access discussions on rehabilitation and return-to-activity progress

  • Get support from others going through similar recovery journeys

  • Help shape what this ecosystem becomes next

This is a free founding-stage community. It is actively evolving based on the needs, questions, and experiences of the people inside it. Additional coaching, feedback, and small-group programs may be offered in the future.

Future Vision

Over time, we are building a structured ACL recovery education system that helps people:

01
Understand how to evaluate their progress after injury

02
Learn what questions to ask their physical therapists and orthopedic providers

03
Better understand their rehabilitation options in the early months after injury

04
Learn how to track meaningful progress during ACL recovery

05
Build strength, confidence, and function through structured rehabilitation principles

06
Get support from a community navigating similar recovery experiences

This will grow directly out of what we learn together in the community.
